Smaller Bathrooms on Delta Airlines
Smaller bathrooms Delta? Is that even possible? Delta are you serious right now? Delta Air Lines says you won’t even notice it, and that the space taken to make smaller bathrooms on Delta Airlines from the already impossible to navigate lavs will be taken from behind the wall at the sink area and an exterior wall.
This new arrangement will give the Delta Boeing 737 through 900s four additional seats, and the new planes will be in service by the end of the year.
Is this what airline customers would vote for? Smaller bathrooms and more packed planes. Great, just what airline passengers are clamoring for. You can barely turn around in airplane bathrooms as it is.
Don’t think passengers aren’t going to notice Delta. Onboard airline designs should be moving in the opposite direction. Moving toward designs that give passengers more comfort, more space, more leg room. Not less space, more seats, or a more crowded plane.
Not only do you have to bring your own food onboard these days; something that was unheard of in the good old days of air travel. But now you better make sure you go to the bathroom before you get onboard as well.
I’m not going to belabor the point, but I have to say it’s just anything disappointing move on the part of the airline industry.
